Yesterday was a long day. We got new carpet in each of the upstairs bedrooms. I got off work a bit early to try to get some furniture put back. We went camping at the Spruces with our friends/neighbors. Between the four couples we had 10 kids under the age of six (Gracie was the oldest). We had a great time. This morning we went for a hike up to Donut Falls. I was surprised at how well Gehrig did on the hike. I had to carry him for a bit on the way up, but he walked most of the way. It has been 16 years since Rachel has been camping. All in all I would call it a success as Rachel has mentioned that we should plan some more camping trips.

I must say though, I’m so thankful for a soft bed. Tonight will be the first time I’ve slept in it since last Thursday!
