Today I went to lunch with Brandon. Brandon and I met in a college class at SLCC. It was a database class we were in. Since then we had a number of classes together and I eventually left 3M to go work with him at MSC. He quite about a year ago to work on his own website and do freelance work. He has had a lot of success, especially lately. I wish I were at that point, but due to debt and I couldn’t take such a risk. It was fun to chat and see how things were going. I taught him a lot of PHP in the beginning, but I think his skills and experience have surpassed mine. We may work on some freelance projects together soon. In any case, it was just just to catch up and see him again.
