I only worked 1/2 day today. I volunteered to help at the church pasta plant this afternoon from 1:00. It was very much like the last time I went there. We we put on the Lasagna assembly line. I was responsible for folding boxes, taping boxes, stamping dates and stacking them on pallets. It was probably the slowest job though, so I stared wondering looking for help. I first started helping with using a laser tool to burn the “best used by” date on the boxes. Then I moved to hot gluing the lasagna boxes. I pretty much helped with each aspect of the process except for the weight. Others started doing the same. If one person happened to get backed up and was slowing down the line, another person that had a break in the action would go help out. It was fun and the 4 hours went by fast. I bought $60 worth of pasta for our food storage too.
