Prepared

Tonight in welfare meeting we spoke about the economy and how it has a bleek outlook right now. Now I suppose there is a chance that our company could always take a nose dive, but for whatever the reason, I feel at peace. I have a feeling that even if the economy goes really bad (which I still don’t know that it is as bad as the media makes it out to be), we will still be okay. Maybe I would be more concerned if I were in the position I was in a few years ago – staring at $41,000 of debt excluding my house. At one point this summer we were debt free except for our house. But because of a few events (namely my truck) we have about $1200 on our credit card. But I am confident I can have that paid off by the end of the year and be debt free again. Also, I’ve done a lot this year to get a better food supply. I think we could now go a few months at least with the storage we have. “If you are prepared, you shall not fear.”

  1. Good article, thanks. It’s always good to remember that if we are prepared, we will really be ready to face whatever comes our way and the Lord will provide. We just have to do the prep work!

    Thanks,
