FHE Budget Meeting

For family night we had a budget meeting. Since we are looking at new home and figuring we may be adding another $500 to our monthly mortgage payment, we ought to see what needs to be adjusted now to prepare for it, because it sure doesn’t feel like we would be able to afford it. Leadership Interview

I had an interview with President Snelgrove (first counselor in stake presidency) this morning. I have to admit that I get a little nervous when I have formal interviews with my leaders. There was nothing to nervous about though. Not sick yet…

The past couple of mornings I’ve woken up feeling sick. This morning I had a sore throat. I’ve heard people recommend Zycam if you feel you are starting to get sick. Rush Limbaugh swears by it. Rachel asked me to get some a couple weeks ago. I’ve tried it out. I don’t know if that was it, but after about an hour I feel fine. So if it is modern medicine, I’m grateful. Elders Quroum Movie Night

For our Elders Quorum activity tonight we set up the projector in the gym and watched The Testaments: Of One Fold and One Shepherd. I rented a popcorn machine and got some ice cream sandwiches and orange dream-cicles. It was an OK turnout. The problem was that there was a youth activity at the conference center tonight, and the U of U was playing one of its biggest games of the season. It was fun though.
