Janet (Rachel’s aunt) came down to Alpine to cut a piece of granite for our kitchen island. The Granite was a piece that used to be in the restaurant that Ken and Laura had. We didn’t realize until we started working on it that there was a small hole cut out in the middle (it was so wires could run through to the cash register). So Jane is going to cut a hole to the same size and fill it in tomorrow.

I watched University of Utah’s bowl game today. They played Alabama – who was ranked number one for 5 weeks this year until they lost their last game of the season to Florida. Utah shocked everyone and beat them 31-17. It was a fun game to watch. Utah went 13-0 this year – the only unbeaten team in the nation. It is just a shame that due to the way the whole college system is set up they can not have the title of national champions.
