After putting the kids to bed, Rachel and I want downstairs to watch the second financial peace university DVD. Occassionaly we heard some noise upstairs so we know someone was up, but we didn’t find out the extent of it until we went upstairs. I came up a little later after putting the DVD away. Whe I got upstairs I say Gehrig sitting on the floor in the middle of the hallway with his head down. His hair was all wet and slicked down....

I found out last week that I do actually have a home teaching assignment now (I never asked because I didn’t want to press the issue ;). I think my companion just had back surgury or something. I tried calling but there was no answer, so I took Gehrig with me to see one of our families (the elders quorum president actually). Shortly after we arrived my companion showed up (I think to get or give some recipe ingredient that someone needed)....

I had CERT (Citizen Emergency Response Team) training all day today. It was in Holladay (Salt Lake City). I had to arrive at 7:45 and I left at 9:15. Most of the time was sitting. I think I about fell asleep a few times during the lecture sessions, but overall it was good. I have finish the course next weekend. It was good training to get and I’m sure it will help me feel more confident in my calling.

I went into Salt Lake today to have a meeting about our software. I found out on the way there that we were meeting at paradise cafe instead of the office. So I got a nice free meal as part of our meeting. Lunch was great. Afterwards I dropped in to see my mom & Harvey. They had a computer problem for me to fix but apparently it worked itself out so I didn’t have to do anything.

I got a deposit in my account today for all the overtime I put in a couple of weeks ago. It was actually more than I expected so hopefully it wasn’t a mistake.
