Gracie’s First Talk

Gracie gave a talk in Primay today. I went in to see her. I was amazed at how confident she was up there. She spoke loudly and clearly into the microphone and did it just as she practiced with no help or support from us. I was very proud!

Saturday Cleaning

We spent the morning cleaning the house. I didn’t mind actually. I was enjoying the break from all the overtime. The flooring guys called and said they would be here Monday morning to start sanding and re-finishing our floor. I can’t wait! I think I’ll be able to enjoy the hotel stay more this time. Goal Accomplished A Bit Early

I just finished my 2 week overtime goal! It’s 12:30 AM. I’ve worked this late the past 3 days I believe. There is certainly a lot to improve on with features and such, but the goal was to get the website functional so users can start signing up and using the site and also build an affiliate program to allow people to help promote it. It’s all ready to go I believe!

Father’s Legacy

I found an aquantance from my hometown on facebook and saw that she was friends with a cousin of mine living in Midway. I sent her a message just curious to know how they knew each other. She is living in Midway now (where my father was born and raised). She said whenever she tells people she is from Roosevelt, they always have good things to say about my Dad. To me that is such a compliment to know my dad is well respected in his home town.

Trimming a Tree

We live on the corner lot now and it happens to be a pretty busy street (well, busy as far as an Alpine neighborhood goes).  We have about 5 very large blue spruce trees in our yard. One in particular makes it difficult to see if cars up coming up the street as we are backing out.
