This morning I slept in a bit, but I was pretty productive once I got up and got a lot of things done on my to do list. I wanted to get some ideas for a mothers day gift for Rachel and I know that she really wants a piano. As I was looking around at the classifieds I remembered an application my friend blogged about that helps teach piano lessons in a way much like Guitar Hero. While I was on his blog, I noticed a new post about how he spends his time. He tracks quite a bit of his time. I don’t know why I didn’t think of this. Once I started really tracking my money consistently and started doing much better. Recently I started tracking everything I eat and it has helped me lose weight. So why not track time? I’m going to give it a try. I have a feeling that once I start tracking my time and seeing exactly how much time is spent doing certain activities, I will tend to cut out the not so productive time spent. I’ve even tracking this time now! It will certainly be a fun experiment to see how it affects my life.
