I had an hour to go hiking this morning. I used my iPhone to time how long it took to get to a number of "landmarks" along the way so I can get a better idea of how far I can go with the time I have available. I noticed that I don’t get nearly as tired as I did the first day. I thought of a quote from Heber J. Grant:
That which we persist in doing becomes easier to do, not that the nature of the thing has changed, but our power to do is increased.
I’ve noticed this in various aspects of my life. I suppose this may be the key to home teaching as well 😉
