Yesterday we went camping as a family up to Granite Flats. It was the first time we have been camping as a family – just by ourselves. It really wasn’t very far away. It was a nice area but kind of small. At first I was afraid that our tent wouldn’t fit in the small spot available, but we somehow made it work. Overall it was fun, but the hardest and most frustrating part was keeping an eye on Nolan. He is just so strong willed and defiant and was always taking off every chance he got.

The weather was great. It was nice and warm. The forecast said 0% chance of rain, but today as we were loading the car it started to run. We were quite lucky. It would have been a real mess if I hadn’t have gotten the tent put away first!
