I went into the office today to see about getting my paycheck that was now 10 days late. We were down to about $250 in our Checking account which hasn’t dropped below $1000 in a long time. I was getting pretty nervous. It was good to see and talk with some people in the office too. Things have changed a lot recently. We have been appointed a "controller" – an accountant who is not handling the books. Every paycheck must pass through her. I noticed my pay stubs appeared to have all my tax withholdings updated year to date which was a huge relief. For the first time in about a year, I’m beginning to have some real optimisms that things could improve for this company. It’s a good thing too because I was about at my lowest point yesterday. Today with my paycheck and also having received $1400 in my federal tax return we have gotten back on top of things.
