I don’t think I’ve ever been in two different temples on the same day. Well, tonight I realized that I have. This morning I went to the Mt. Timpanogos Temple and did initiatories. It was interesting that they made a slight change. They no longer give you garments to change into. Now you wear your own. I think that will save them a lot of time and money as far as laundry goes. For family night we wanted to watch The Parent Trap (the original). I went to Wal-Mart to buy it but they were sold out. So rather than driving around I decided to give Netflix a try. I’ve heard that you can stream movies over the Internet and that is what I was hoping to do. Unfortunately you can only stream certain movies. So we ended up watching Enchanted instead. It was a fun movie and the kids really enjoyed it.

I had my first bishopric meeting in this ward this morning. It was a somewhat small meeting as both counselors were out of town on vacation. I enjoy the opportunity to serve and I look forward to getting to know more people in the ward.

Yesterday we went camping as a family up to Granite Flats. It was the first time we have been camping as a family – just by ourselves. It really wasn’t very far away. After playing ultimate frisbee today I was really thirsty. I forgot to bring some water, which can is not a good thing in the middle of July. As I was getting in my truck to go home, I noticed a little girl across the street and it looked like she had a lemonaid stand. I dug around in my truck and managed to round up 40 cents.
