I went to the temple this morning. I didn’t go last week. I used to go every other week, but for the past couple of months I’ve been going weekly. Because it had been two weeks it felt like I hadn’t been in a long time. It was great though. I always enjoy going to the temple and I’m grateful for all the people who sacrifice their time to work there.

Rachel and I went to a wedding reception tonight. It was our former stake president’s son, who we taught in Sunday school when we first moved to the ward. He then served a mission and came home and was in Elders quorum with me. He married a girl that was in the stake. I had seen here around because her ward met in the same building as ours. After work we made sandwich and packed up a picnic basket. As soon as we opened the garage door we noticed a storm had hit. The wind was blowing furiously. We got in the car anyway to see if things would change. We started backing out and saw lightening so we pulled right back in. We had our picnic on the family room floor as the rain started to pour. Rachel had enrichment night today. It was a "garden tour". At the end they talked about emergency preparedness and foot storage. I was surprised to hear that she signed up for Cert training! Now we will both be Cert trained. While she was gone we watch Wipeout. It’s one of the shows the family likes to watch together. I then took them to the nearest park to play for a while before it was time for bed.

Today was an interesting day. I had to go to the post office to pick up a certified letter. It was from an attorney. I must admit I was a little nervous because I had no idea what it was about. It turns out that a company that I had helped a friend do some freelance work for just wanted to make sure all intellectual property related to their company was in its name. They were just asking me to sign a release for the work I had done some 6 or 7...
