I had the day off today for Pioneer Day. It was nice because I also got a call from Velocity Webworks in St. George and did a phone interview with the owner of that company. i think it went really well. Rachel was pretty frustrated though because she was making plans for Tennessee, now there is a second option.

Dan Purcell is the name of the owner of Velocity. After chatting with him on the phone he sent me an email and said he would pay for a hotel for a weekend if we wanted to drive down and meet the team and then do something fun like visit Zion’s National Park.

I think I would still prefer to work for Dave Ramsey in Tennessee because it sounds like more of an adventure. It also seems more scary. This job in St. George is a better fit for my skill set and it keeps us a little bit closer to family. As with all decisions there are pros & cons but I need to get through the interview process before I can make a good decision.

We had two more showing of our house today. We went to lunch at the Purple Turtle then saw Epic in the theater afterwards. After the movie we went swimming at Nani & Pops’ house. They are not excited about the prospect of use moving out of Alpine, but I think Ken is a little envious and would move out of Utah if he could.
