Today I went to lunch with Brandon. Brandon and I met in a college class at SLCC. It was a database class we were in. Since then we had a number of classes together and I eventually left 3M to go work with him at MSC. He quite about a year ago to work on his own website and do freelance work. He has had a lot of success, especially lately. I wish I were at that point, but due to debt and I couldn’t take such a risk. It was fun to chat and...

We are trying something new at work. John and I are working from home. We are paying $1500 per month for office space that only John and I occupy. So we are giving this a try. I enjoyed it today. My office is definitely more comfortable, I have bigger monitors and a faster computer and internet. Yeah that seems strange, but its true. Gracie is very good with computers and electronics. She loves to try and figure things out by herself, and she does figure things out quickly. I would say she’s a chip off the old block! 😉
Yesterday was a long day. We got new carpet in each of the upstairs bedrooms. I got off work a bit early to try to get some furniture put back. We went camping at the Spruces with our friends/neighbors. Between the four couples we had 10 kids under the age of six (Gracie was the oldest). We had a great time. This morning we went for a hike up to Donut Falls. I was surprised at how well Gehrig did on the hike. I had to carry him for a bit on the...
