11th Anniversary Date

I took a day off work today to celebrate our anniversary. Ironically, we didn’t really start celebrating until about 5:30. I spent the majority of the painting Gracie’s room. It has been taped since we moved in. I finally got around to actually doing it. Rachel’s parents and Leslie & Cade watched our kids for us so we could go out. We went to Provo and ate at Carabas, then went to Comedy Sportz. It was an improv show, sort...

11th Anniversary

11 years ago today I married my best friend. It doesn’t seem like it has been that long. My how time flies. I went to work as usual, but once I got home we took the kids to Boondocks. We ate dinner and did activites. Gracie & Gehrig loved driving their own cars on the fast track. After Boondocks we went to Sub Zero – our favorite ice cream place. It was fun letting he kids celebrate with us. Tomorrow we celebrate by ourselves.

Worked from Home

I woke up at 1 AM not feeling well and I couldn’t go back to sleep. I eventually got up at 3 AM and decided to do som work on the computer. Little League Tournament Loss

We played our second tournament game tonight. We started out great. We made some great plays in the infield to get 3 quick outs. Unfortunately, we also didn’t score any runs in the first inning. In the second inning the other team scored about 4 runs and our team really got down. I had to remind them that baseball was fun. We ended up playing 5 innings. By the 5th inning we were down 9 runs so I put in all the little kids in the infield...

Little League Tournament Win

I have been coaching Gehrig’s little leage team this year. We put Gehrig & Brigham on the same team and Cade has been coaching with me. It’s been a fun season. It is machine pitch. It is a bit more competative than t-ball becase the kids can strike out and get runners out in the field, but there is a limit of 5 runs per inning, everybody bats, & you can have four outfielders. We have 13 kids on our team and the fewest we have...

Stake Conference & Our New Home

We had stake conference today. I was reminded of the importance of recognizing tender mercies and writing in a journal on a daily basis. I have set a goal to begin writing daily again. A number of things have happened since I last wrote. I guess the biggest change in our lives is that we moved to a new house. We actually moved within our own ward. We bought a bigger house that had been vacance since we moved into our last home. It is about...
