Today in sacrament meeting the primary sang for Father’s day. I was surprised that Gehrig went up without a struggle. I was even more surprised that he actually sang the song! Last week he wouldn’t even go practice with them. I was so proud of him!

Today I went for a hike with Gracie. We hiked up to Stewart Falls. It was a primary activity. Unfortunately it rained the whole time. The hike to the falls wasn’t too bad, but it really started coming down on the way back. I think Gracie fell 3 times. She was so muddy. She cried most of the way back. She said "I’m never going hiking with you again!" I actually had fun. Sure it was rainy, muddy, cold and wet, but it was a...
Tonight we had my family over (Mom & Harvey, Toby & Kristi, Alex & Aaron). Toby finished his residency at McKay Dee Hospital. They have purchased a home in Boise and will be moving there in a couple of weeks. It was fun to have everyone over. The kids had a great time too. As we were saying goodbye I started to realize that it could be a long time before I see them again. I must admin I got a little emotional. Hopefully as a Doctor...
Tonight I hung a number of frames tonight. Rachel has done a few craft projects. She does really well making our house a home. I’m so grateful for that.

I had an hour to go hiking this morning. I used my iPhone to time how long it took to get to a number of "landmarks" along the way so I can get a better idea of how far I can go with the time I have available. I noticed that I don’t get nearly as tired as I did the first day. I thought of a quote from Heber J. Grant: That which we persist in doing becomes easier to do, not that the nature of the thing has changed, but our power...
