Nolan slept through the whole night last night and didn’t get up until 7:45. It seems he has been sick for so long that I don’t remember the last time that has happened. Unfortunately both Gracie and Gehrig were up multiple times during the night. It rained all night and Gracie is afraid of storms and wind. Oh well, at least I have hope for Nolan sleeping through the night again!

It rained all day today. We’ve certainly had a lot of rain and snow lately. I’m not complaining. So tonight watched a movie with kids and ate popcorn and licorice. We watched The Rescuers. I have to say that I get tired of watching Disney cartoons all the time. But tonight, I couldn’t help thinking as we were all cuddled together on the couch. I’d rather endure another cartoon than watch something I find entertaining all...
Today I saw my neighbor outside so I went over and chatted with him for a while. It was good to get to know him a little. He actually registered alpinebaseball.com and I offered to take over the maintenance of it. He was happy to hand it over since he hasn’t done anything with it in 4 years. It was pretty weird as I was looking to find out who owned it, it turned out to be my next door neighbor! What are the odds?
Last night after writing in my journal I went upstairs and Rachel was in bed with the lights out. It was 11:00. I said, "knock, knock" "Who’s there?" "Ether" "Oh crap!" Rachel hopped out of bed and we got the Easter baskets put together. So this morning, even after seeing all the basket Gracie kept asking if the Easter bunny came. She knew that we had bought everything (because she is a snoop… and...
Today was just a typical Saturday in the Davis family. We spend the morning cleaning, then went out to Wal-mart for a few items, all the boys got haircuts, then we spend the rest of the day watching movies and playing games. There was nothing exciting to report, but a nice relaxing day together is always nice. We probably would have done yard work, but it was raining off and on all day.
At 4:30 today we had a Easter egg hunt for our neighborhood in the neighborhood park. It was a nice day and the kids had a lot of fun. Nolan even got involved. After it was all over and the eggs were all gone, he found 3 more eggs walking around. He didn’t really care though. He did like the chocolate in them though!
