The kids have been taking swimming lessons in the mornings in Nani’s pool from one of her friends. Nolan has been reluctant to try floating on his back. I told him before I left for work that I would get him a treat if he did it today. I got a phone call today letting me know he did it. When I got home we all went out for shaved ice.

I’ve noticed that since we have gotten home from vacation that Nolan has been more talkative than usual. He is usually very shy and quiet – even at home from time to time. I also have noticed that he always runs to greet me with a hug when I get home from work. We have been worried a bit about his introvertedness. I wonder if it had to do with all the time I spent in the hospital. In any case, I think he is opening up a bit more and...

It was back to work again today. It was sure nice to take a vacation and recharge the batteries so to speak. After dinner we got the kitchen cleaned up & watched Harry Potter together. The last episode comes out Friday.

Toby made German pancakes & waffles this morning. It was delicious. He took me over to his clinic & removed 4 moles from my armpit. I kept thinking it is weird that my big brother is a doctor. We left Boise around 11:30. We stopped in Twin Falls for lunch and also stopped to look at the amazing bridge and canyon there. We went to the lake today. It was pretty fun. Obviously we couldn’t all fit in the boat so we took turns. The kids had a great time on the tube. Gracie even tried water skiing once. After we got home we had a barbecue. We also stayed up late to watch a braves game. It’s been a fun weekend. Kind of sad we are leaving tomorrow.

We had a fun filled day with Toby & Kristi and Mom & Alex. We went to a water park. The kids loved it. I was surprised at how brave they were wanting to go on all the slides – especially Nolan. He had a blast. Due to his height he wasnt allowed to go on all the slides he wanted. For dinner we got a couple of baby sitters for the kids and we went out to The Cheesecake Factory.

We spent the majority of the day driving. We stopped in Twin Falls and visited with Brook & Greg for over an hour. We made it to Boise around 7:30. Toby & Kristi fed us dinner. We talked most of the night. We are just now going to bed at 11:30. We will be in Boise until Sunday.
