Janet was helping Rachel all day and they made more progress on the bathroom. I had to work late tonight and will likely be working late a lot the next two weeks as we are gearing up for a big conference our company hosts every year.

Janet came over early this morning to help tile our bathroom again. By about 5:00 we were done with the shower and the floor. Now it has to dry so we can grout. Today was fast Sunday. Rachel & I fasted for help concerning the legal issue with Mvelopes. As Rachel closed the fast with prayer, she said, “Thanks for Mike and all the help he has provided.” I know she was referring to my boss, who has given and advice and even called he co-owner who I met with on Friday. Today we spend the majority of the day working on the bathroom. Janet came this morning and was here until about 5:30 helping us. We got about half of the bathtub/shower tiled. It was sure nice of her to spend her day helping us. It certainly wasn’t the first time she has done this for us. In other news… BYU upsets #3 Oklahoma! Yeah!!!

Today at work the phone support staff held a party for our team and named it programmer appreciation day. I was amazed at the amount of work the put into it for decorating the conference room and planning games and lunch. It was fun to get to know some people and socialize a bit. Generally our room is so quiet, but there was some ruckus today and it was a nice break.

I’m really liking my new job. Today management provided lunch for the whole company to say thanks for recent accomplishments. It is a really fun environment to work in. Plus it has some fun perks. Tonight we had a family home evening lesson about the window’s mite. I think it was a little confusing for the kids because they don’t understand math at all and I think that is helpful for that lesson. Anyway it is the thought that counts.
