I went into the office today to see about getting my paycheck that was now 10 days late. We were down to about $250 in our Checking account which hasn’t dropped below $1000 in a long time. I was getting pretty nervous. It was good to see and talk with some people in the office too. Things have changed a lot recently. Tonight we went to Cade & Leslie’s house for dinner and cake & ice cream for Brigham’s family birthday party. When we got there Nolan found a pile of toys and discovered Gehrig’s stuffed dog that he usually sleeps with but has been lost for over a week. When he found it he got excited and said, "Gehrig’s" and ran off to find him. I thought it was pretty cute.

Today was a day full of cleaning the house. We got a nice break in the evening though as we went to Rachel’s parents’ house and swam in the pool. Ken and Sam even joined in today. It was a hot day, but the weather was perfect as we got in as the day was starting to cool down. Afterwards we enjoyed some banana splits.  

Today I decided to check out the Mormon Messages channel on YouTube. I watched "Hope Ya Know, We Had a Hard Time." It’s been pretty stressful around here since my paycheck is a week late and we’ve had a number of bills. After work we did some yard work. Then we had dinner and watched the Parent Trap (the original). That show is a classic that Rachel and I love. The kids really enjoyed it too. I didn’t realize how long it was. Gehrig almost made it through the movie before falling asleep.

I don’t think I’ve ever been in two different temples on the same day. Well, tonight I realized that I have. This morning I went to the Mt. Timpanogos Temple and did initiatories. It was interesting that they made a slight change. They no longer give you garments to change into. Now you wear your own. I think that will save them a lot of time and money as far as laundry goes.
