This morning Gracie was whining and complaining because she didn’t want to watch General Conference and Rachel didn’t want the kids just playing in the toy room and fighting the whole time. It was a beautiful morning. I went to the temple. It snowed lightly during the night so everything was white. When I got to the temple to do initiatories I was told that it would be a 45 minute wait. I wasn’t concerned. I overheard a conversation that when they modified the way they did the initiatory, initiatory work has been up 70%. It didn’t take 45 minutes anyway and I enjoyed being there.

For the past few months my paychecks have been consistently late. They keep getting later and later it seems. It has me a little nervous about the future of my company, but not nearly as much as it has Rachel nervous. I’ve applied for other jobs but haven’t really had any offers. I don’t know exactly why. I think I might be asking for more that the going rate for programmers right now. It seems a lot of people are getting laid...

I missed the deadline for little league by a month. I had no idea they registered so early here. I got an email today though letting me know that I could still sign them up. I can even have Gracie & Gehrig on the same T-ball team, or I can put Gracie in a coach pitch league. I think it is best to start out on a T, so I’m thinking I’ll put them on the same team. It should also make schedules a little easier.

Yesterday morning when I went to take a shower I found that I had no hot water. Somehow the pilot light went out. Ken came over and helped me get it started again. It keeps going out though. We had a plumber come look at it an said it would cost about $400 to repair it, between $970 – $1500 to replace it. We currently have a 40 gallon tank, be we run out quickly so I want to replace it with a 50 gallon tank. I found them at Home Depot for...

Last Friday we went grocery shopping at Wal-Mart. While checking out we decided to get a gift card for my mom’s wedding. This is brand new Wal-Mart that opened about a week ago, so it seems all the employees are brand new. The girl at the check-out messed up trying to activate the gift card and billed us twice then while trying to fix it she messed it up even more.
