Today was a very interesting day. John (my co-worker) accepted another job offer and gave his two weeks notice. He was the one that talked me down from the ledge when I was looking at other jobs. Apparently it was so he could jump first. In any case. I was supposed to be paid last Friday, but I didn’t get my direct deposit until some time after 5 o’clock today. It was frustrating me so I sent Scott, our company president and owner an email expressing my frustration. I also considered looking around at other jobs again.

For family night, we went to the laundromat to do some big (bed comforter, towels, etc.) laundry. We picked up some pizza beforehand to eat there as well. While I was there I got a call from a recruiter that was responsible for lining up an interview for me with eharbor.com. I thought that interview went really well, but I never heard back from them. Once I was offered to work at home I just stopped looking around. He explained that there had been a mix up where he thought they were going to contact me for another interview, and they thought he was going to contact me. They were still interested in me and hoped that I was still interested and available. I said that I just became interested after today’s events. So it sounds like I may have a job interview to go to some time this week.

Rachel has been stressed out with my current job situation and that phone call brought her peace.
