Rachel dropped me off at the park today so I could go play Ultimate Frisbee. Gehrig was upset because he wanted to stay and play too. Rachel told him we could have a picnic after I got off work, so that’s what we did. We got some sandwiches from Subway and went to Murray Park. The kids had a ball and didn’t want to leave. We then wen to Carrie and Burt’s house. It was an enjoyable and relaxing evening with the family.

I needed to visit someone in my quorum tonight. Neither of my counselors were available to go with me so I took Gehrig. This person came to church two weeks ago and it was the first time I have seen him come to our quorum meeting. We are really quite different so I had no idea what I was going to say when I got there, it was more like Nephi, where I went, led by the Spirit, not knowing beforehand the things which I should do (or say). As soon as...

After taxes and registration fees I got a loan for $3160.80. I negotiated the sale to $3200. so pretty much it was a wash for me, but I was lucky no to lose anything. Well, I probably lost about $100 because I had another key made and purchased a remote entry control. So all in all, it really...
We went to dinner at the Olive Garden tonight. While we were there Rachel said she recognized one of the waitresses, but she didn’t know how or where. When I saw here I said, “That’s Emily!”. Rachel was still confused. I reminded her that she used to work with her at IHC and I used to sit next to her husband Matt at work. Matt used to try to persuade me to ask Rachel out when she would transfer a call to me. Emily would...
Tonight I was trying to talk with Gracie about fathers blessings. She is starting kindergarten tomorrow and I thought it would be nice to offer her one. Unfortunately, she is scared of them for some reason. As we were talking though, she interrupted me and said, “Today I got lost in the store…” (which she did. We were at RC Willey trying to hurry out before our salesman saw us sneak away) “… and the Holy Ghost told...
