Rachel and I got up at 5:30 this morning. I went to the church around 6 to print off some forms for the Bishop. Our goal was to leave by 7:00 AM to go to Brigham City for Jace’s (Melanie & Tom) baby blessing. We had a hard time getting the kids up. They wore themselves out swimming all day and staying up late for fireworks. Gehrig was the hardest to get up. We go there on time though. Again we struggled to get Gehrig in the chapel. He was grunting and hitting me. I don’t know why he gets that way, but I have a feeling that when he is more tired he is more shy and stubborn.

Sacrament was great. I enjoyed the blessing and really felt the Spirit. I was glad I was able to participate.

Unfortunately while the sacrament was being passed Nolan’s diaper leaked. I guess he had far too much to drink on the car ride up. I changed him and decided to let him walk around in the sun to dry out his pants. He found a playground across the street from the church so I let him play over there. I figured some warm slides could help dry out the pants!

When his pants were dry enough I took him back in the chapel. He didn’t like that. As soon as we entered and he saw we were going to sit down he yelled "Hey!" He has developed quite the temper lately.

I’m glad we came back in because I was able to hear Tom bear his testimony and I really enjoyed hearing it.

We had a nice lunch at Melanie & Tom’s house after church. We also had a birthday cake & ice cream since it was Brock’s birthday. It was a fun day. I’m thankful for Rachel for driving home because I slept most of the way home. I was so tired.
