I took my car into the shop yesterday. My seat electric seat got stuck. It felt like the switch was broken but I was told it needed a new motor. Well once they put in the new motor they said the switch was also broken. I got upset with that because that is what I thought it was originally and I didn’t believe the motor was bad. I threw such a fuss that they overnighted the part and got me a rental car for the day. Once they put the switch in they found the existing motor was fine. So I saved a little bit of money, it was still $430 to fix. Plus I paid another $150 for a new key. Those are the most expensive car keys ever! Oh well, at least it is fixed and I don’t have to jump start my car every morning. That was the main issue. Because the seat switch was stuck it was draining my battery when I wasn’t driving.
