This afternoon we decided to go hiking. We stopped by Ken’s house and invited him to go. We drove up to where I normally would go during lunches. I was kind of worried because it is a pretty steep hike for kids. Once we got there we quickly changed our minds. There were horse trailers EVERYWHERE. I have never seen it so crowded. We ended up driving up American Fork Canyon. We drove to Silver Lake and started from there. It was a much easier hike for the kids. I was surprised how well they did. Pops brought trail mix packs. It kept Nolan going as he kept running to him to get another m&m. We probably hiked about a mile before we turned around. It was a lot of fun and it was perfect day. I think the only downside was that there were hunters all over the place as Deer season is now in swing. Rachel was a little nervous of all the hunters hiking around and gun-shots.
