We went up American Fork canyon for a picnic. We didn’t stay long. It was a lot colder up there than we had anticipated. So we drove back into town and went to the park on main street in Alpine and let the kids play on the playground there for a while. I think they had a fun time and it was fun just doing something different and spending time together.

Today Mike took me and Steve to lunch at Red Robin. I’m not exactly sure why he invited me. I sometimes wonder why he puts so much trust in me – the new guy. Steve used to be the lead of the programmers so its no wonder why he got invited. I didn’t carpool today because Mike has to stay late on Thursdays. It’s not so bad for me really. The traffic wasn’t too bad, plus I got to listen to conference talks on my iPhone. I love how the MP3s are made available so quickly for download on lds.org!
I took my car into the shop yesterday. My seat electric seat got stuck. It felt like the switch was broken but I was told it needed a new motor. Well once they put in the new motor they said the switch was also broken. I got upset with that because that is what I thought it was originally and I didn’t believe the motor was bad. It’s such a beautiful time of year. The leaves are changing color. It love driving home to such a nice area. Today when I got home Rachel had made butternut squash soup. It was so delicious and warming!
