Whenever I get a phone call from a number I don’t recognize, 90% of the time I will let it go to voicemail. Today I got a call, but fortunately on the iPhone it shows the state that the call originates from. This particular call originated from TN, so I answered.

It was someone from Dave Ramsey’s company. I had my first interview. I think it went well. I was a little nervous. I’m wondering if perhaps I should have applied to be a developer rather than a development team lead.

I read this morning in Dave’s EntreLeadership book that it generally takes 6-15 interviews and an average of 90 days from the first contact for their team to make a hire. So I keep passing, I could be in this interview process for the next 3 months.

Either way, it made my day and I’m excited!
