Today I turned 36. It was an awesome birthday. For starters, we got an offer on our house. They offered $474,000 with virtually no concessions. They asked for our riding lawn mower in the offer, but we couldn’t give that to them because it isn’t ours. We are borrowing it from Ken. Other than that everything looked good so we accepted. If all goes as planned we should get about $125,000 in equity to put toward our next home. They want to move in by August 29th, so we basically have 3 weeks to pack & move out!

Also we are scheduled to close on our other house tomorrow morning at 9:00 am. We should make about $50,000 – which about $40,000 will go towards paying off various debts we have accumulated.

At work, Neutron allows us to pick what meal they order for that day and pick a dessert then everyone gathers in the afternoon to sing and eat dessert. So we had chinese food and eclairs.

The family gave me some Braves apparel (who happen to have 13 straight wins right now). We had some red velvet cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory that Rachel went and picked up for me this afternoon.

I went to Utah Python users group meeting tonight and chatted with some friends there.

We are now packing for St. George. We will meet with the company around 4:00 pm. They also have dinner lined up for us for Friday and Saturday night as well. I’m really looking forward to this trip.

Everything is happening so fast my head is spinning, but its all good and exciting. It is just so interesting how things are woking out and the order of it all!
