It was another long busy day in our new home. We did go grocery shopping first thing in the morning so we could have something to eat at least. We made a lot of progress in cleaning and organizing, but still it is hard to tell because it feels like we still have so much to do. I can’t believe how much stuff we accumulated in our old house. We have half a garage full of stuff we don’t need. Ken (my father-in-law) came over today and...

Well, I’ve skipped a couple of days – mainly because I’ve been so tired. I was up until 1:30 AM on Wednesday night packing trucks and trailers. We had a pretty good turnout from ward members to help us load the 26 foot Uhaul truck we rented. Another ward member let me borrow his trailer. I’m so glad. I don’t know what we would have done without it. Yesterday morning, Rachel’s mom, sister and brother in law...
We got bad news this morning. The underwriters found some inconsistencies on my pay stub. I won’t go into details, but it has been a very frustrating day. It looks like our closing date will be moved back to Thursday, so we may be paying for an extra day on the uhaul truck and possibly for a hotel room to stay in. I’m trying to find the silver lining in this. On a good note, it looks like we may be getting a better interest rate...
Rachel had to go down to Alpine today to pick out a stain color for our kitchen/hallway floor we are re-doing. Also to pick out a granite slab for counter-tops that Janet is going to install for us. So I took Gracie to school and picked her up. I really wanted to play Ultimate frisbee today because I figured today might be the last day I get to play with this group of friends I have been playing with for the past 7 years or so. So I took Gracie...
We had our tithing settlement this morning. I was glad that Bishop took a moment to try to teach Gracie about tithing. He also said some kind words to us as today was our last day at church. After chruch we had to take some things to Rachel’s grandparents. Once we got there we were invited to stay for dinner. It was a fun evening. It was a bit challenging managing Nolan since their house is in no way child proof. I might possibly have...
This morning as I was downstairs with the kids, Gracie asked what time it was. After I told he she walked out of the room and came back with this sheet of paper. She came an stook in front of me. He back was to me so she was looking at the clock. I could hear her talking to herself quietly and seriously. “8:12 Bed time, 12:12 Lunch time, 11:12 Snack time, 3:30 Coloring time, 8:11 Go outside time, 11:12 Play time, 12:31 Wii Game, 11:13...
