Gracie Turns Six

I took the day off today for Gracie’s birthday. We took the kids to Boondocks. We had lunch and let them play around for a few hours in an indoor playground area and an arcade. They had a lot of fun. Gracie continually reminded us that it was her birthday. I believe she had a good one.

High Counselor Material?

Rachel’s visiting teachers came yesterday. One of them is the wife of a stake high counselor and former bishop of our ward. She teaches gospel doctrine sunday school class as well. She mentioned to Rachel that it is just too bad we are moving. Her husband is supposed to recommend a name for high counsel and she thinks I would do great because I make good comments in sunday school and I give interesting talks in church. I don’t know...

It was a simple as flipping a switch and soon our...

Joy in Creating

Nolan was up on and off again all night. I think he’s teething. We just found a bottom molar last night. I still got up around 4:30. I took him downstairs with my. I did a short exercise video, then came in the office, read a section of D&C, then decided that with Nolan I wasn’t going to be able to do any work, so I watched the video President’s Uchtdorf’s talk in General Relief Society meeting. It was an awesome talk...
