It has been a while since I have written since I moved my blog to Day One app. I’ve been having troubles with it lately so I am coming back to this wordpress blog. But I’m trying out a new journal format. I try to blog twice a day and fill out a template. Rather than explain it, you’ll see it going forward. I’ll just create a new category for them so I can filter them if needed.
Rachel planned on taking the car in today so she took me to the train station so she could use my car. I got a ride home with Evan Ehat from work. He lives in Lehi so it was nice of him to go out of his way like that. I got a text on the way home from Rachel with a picture of my $1000 thunderbolt monitor. I took the day off Friday. We spent the morning packing for vacation and trying to get a hold of a roofer to give us an estimate on fixing the flashing on the roof to the house. Our preferred roofer, Jarod Wallace happened to be in the area, so he stopped by. He said the inpectors were idiots. Just because they couldn’t see the flashing didn’t mean it wasn’t there. Tonight we are stressed out again. The buyers of our house send us a list of things they would like fixed. Most of the items were small and not even real issues like like making sure all the burned out light bulbs were replaced. I worked from home yesterday to go to a follow-up visit for my back epidural. It also gave me the chance to look at some rentals in the afternoon and during lunch. We then drove up to Farmington & Layton to look at some new homes that were move-in ready. The Farmington house was nice, but kind of small and no room for growth because it didn’t have a basement.
