Tonight my old friend Tyler Allred and his wife and two daughters came to visit. They have been living in Washington for the past 7 or 8 years now. I stopped on the way home and bought some fried chicken. It was fun to sit and chat. It is too bad they don’t live closer because I’m sure we would have a good time hanging out with them more often. We got a counter-offer today. The buyer basically wanted to offer $290,000 ($3000 more) for the house, but was asking for $7350 more in repairs to be done before closing. We chatted with Emily and met her for dinner in Salt Lake and she helped us write up a counter offer addendum and letter to the buyer. I got a lot done at work today. I felt very productive. I had a ticket due by the end of the day that I worried I wouldn’t have time to finish. I had it done by about 1:30! That allowed me to get ahead as I have a lot of tickets due next week. I REALLY hate to admit this, but perhaps Dan & Joel were right. Perhaps I can work faster that I thought I could.
