After conference I felt a great desire to serve more. I’ve been fortunate the past few nights to have the opportunity. Around 8:15 tonight I got a phone call from an elder in the ward who had recently moved in. His wife had gone to a home in West Valley to purchase a used high chair. For family night, we drove up Milcreek canyon and hiked a short ways up a trail. It was too cold to hike very far. The boys weren’t quite dressed warm enough. On the way down the trail we started throwing leaves all over each other. Gehrig was pretty ornery up until that point. It turned to be a fun little outing.
My home teacher called me around 9:30 tonight and asked if I could come over and assist him in giving his son a priesthood blessing. Priesthood session of general conference was awesome tonight.
