We had an elders quorum presidency meeting tonight. Brother Hackett came as I asked and shared a message about the oath amp; covenant of the priesthood and magnifying our callings. I thought it was a really uplifting experience. I think it fired us up to do more to fulfill our callings.

This evening I was out in the yard pulling weeds. I recruited Gracie and Gehrig to help me. Rachel went and got some pizza from Little Caesars. When she got back Gracie didn’t want to go in and eat. We had Nolan’s birthday party today at Nani & Pops’ house. I think Nolan had a good time. We sang happy birthday to him twice. I doubt one-year-olds really understand the concept of birthdays, but in any case I think Nolan enjoyed the attention. I also think he really enjoyed the chocolate cupcake and the freedom to just dig in all by himself!
